Western Vest Inspired by Belle Starr

Western Vest Inspired by Belle Starr

Belle Starr known as the "Bandit Queen", was born Myra Maybelle Shirley on February 5th, 1848. Married a couple of times then last to her husband Sam Starr. Belle and Sam were charged with horse stealing and spent several months in jail which is where she acquired the name Bandit Queen only to again be charged with horse theft again in 1886. Her story sadly ends on February 3rd, 1889 a couple days before her 41st birthday, Belle was shot in the back. No one was ever convicted of her murder.

Many stories have been told of Belle Starr's Life, our inspiration came from her name. A sad ending to what we're sure was a hard life then filled with heart ache and struggles.

A Ladies wool western vest, the Maybelle Vest, will give you confidence as (Belle Starr may have had) and enough style to bring the 1800's up the 2000's.
